I offer free taster sessions of 20 minutes for those who have not had Reiki before to give them an idea of how it feels.

I am a Master Teacher Member of the UK Reiki Federation and have found my experience with Reiki to be a humbling and healing one. Reiki is completely safe and natural; it can never do any harm and has no negative side effects.

I am honoured to be 6th in the lineage, having been initated into the First Degree and Second Degree of Usui Shiki Ryoho (The Usui System of Reiki Healing) by my Reiki Master, James French. My Reiki Master/Teacher training follows with Gillian Ellis who trained with William Lee Rand.

My Reiki lineage is as follows: Dr. Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki - Dr. Chujiro Hayashi - Mrs. Hawayo Takata - Phyllis Lei Furomoto (Takata's granddaughter and the recognised lineage bearer) - James French - myself. (You can see pictures of the Grand Masters and the Lineage Bearer below). My lineage through Gillian Ellis is as follows: Dr. Mikao Usui - Dr. Chujiro Hayashi - Mrs. Hawayo Takata - Phyllis Lei Furomoto - Carol Farmer - Leah Smith - William Lee Rand - Gillian Ellis - myself.

Reiki is a gentle, pure and non-invasive form of healing. Reiki essentially means "universal life force energy" and this is what a person who has been initiated into the Usui System channels into themself and others when they put their hands on them. Reiki is uncomplicated and beautifully simple, Mrs. Takata used to say "Hands on, Reiki on. Hands off, Reiki off".

Reiki is not a religion and as such, to benefit from the Reiki healing you do not need to change or challenge your religion or beliefs, in fact you do not even need to believe in Reiki for it to work. Saying that Reiki is not a religion does not mean that it without morals and integrity. Reiki practitioners are guided by the Reiki Precepts as above.

A Reiki healing session lasts approximately 45-60 minutes. It is a hands-on healing, performed with the client lying down on a healing/massage table, fully clothed.

 
There are 12 hand postions which cover the front and back of the client, they repectful and non-intrusive.

Because Reiki is available to all, I only ask for imbursement for my time and facilities, for which I charge £30 per session. I am also happy to travel to your home to give you healing and am grateful to be reimbursed for my travel expenses.

Please note: If you cancel your appointment giving less than 24 hour's notice, you will be charged 50% of the appointment fee.
